McGill University brings the first financial management master in Europe to the Grand Duchy
MCGILL University is recognized for its teaching and research worldwide and is one of the most respected academic institutions at an international level – and the introduction of its master’s degree in financial management in Luxembourg is a great progress for the country’s academic and financial broadcast, as the Ministry of Finance explains in a message.
Finance Minister Gilles Roth gave the starting signal for the cooperation with representatives of MCGILL University as well as with the association of the Banques et Banquiers, Luxembourg (ABBL) and the Association Luxembourgeoise of the Fonds d’Inndissement (Alfi).
All parties expressed their will to increase the attractiveness of the Luxembourg financial center. It is « a unique opportunity to train a new generation of highly qualified specialists on site who are directly related to the needs of the financial sector, » says the Ministry of Finance.
The master’s program for financial management at MCGill University is an intensive, specialized program that is preparing for a career in the financial sector. It is a full -time program that can be completed in 12 or 16 months.

The master’s program is supported by the Chamber of Commerce, which provides the infrastructure of your training center. The MCGill University will also be represented with an office that is responsible for the administration and organization of the master’s degree.
