UEFA fined three players from Real Madrid, including Kylian Mbappe, for ‘inadequate behavior’ on Metropolitano, during the second sleeve of the football league, against Atletico Madrid.

According to the Spanish press, the three challenged and irritated Atletico’s fans, ostentatiously celebrating the qualification of the ‘galactic’ in the quarters of the competition.

Thus, the UEFA forced the French striker to pay 30,000 euros, the German defender Antonio Rudiger, 40,000 euros and the midfielder Dani Ceballos, 20,000 euros.

For Mbappe and Rudiger, UEFA has combined a fine with a suspension for a European match, but without influence on the round sleeve of the Champions League against Arsenal next Tuesday: ‘This sanction is not applicable immediately and is subjected to a one-year probation period,’ UEFA indicated in a press release.

UEFA eventually abandoned the disciplinary procedures against the Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior, although it was initially targeted.

The three sanctions were accused of violating Article 11 of the UEFA Disciplinary Code which requires a ‘decent behavior’.

Real Madrid, the holder of the trophy, was dramatically qualified last month in the quarterfinals of the Champions League in football after defeating Atletico Madrid at 4-2 at the break, Estadio Metropolitano, in a match in which the rival won 1-0 at the end of the extensions.
