Mayor’s post: CSV Hesperingen proposes Diane Adhm

The Successor of Marc Lies (CSV) For the mayor’s post in the municipality of Hesperingen, it is clear: Diane Adehm is to follow her party colleague, who announced his resignation on Monday. This was announced by the Hesperingen CSV section on Wednesday afternoon.

Diane Adhm moved into the local council in November 2005 and was admitted to the Schöffenrat in October 2011. The 54-year-old was almost the whole term of Marc Lies, who had been on his post since 2009.

This followed the logic of the election result. Diane Adhm, who also sits in parliament, had 3,331 votes in the last elections as the second chosen, read 4.153.

There is now a change in the lay judge. DP politicians Claude Lamberty and CSV representative Guy Wester remain lay judges. In addition, Jean Theis (CSV) now comes, as is also communiqué. The CSV had received eight seats. Mi Hee Lentz-Pak should move up for Jean Theis.

« Stake on the coalition agreement »

The CSV Hesperingen then also enters the coalition with the DP: « In this context, the CSV Hesperingen expressly emphasizes that it will of course stick to the existing coalition agreement with the DP. »

Marc Lies’s resignation must now be accepted by the Grand Duke. Then a municipal council can be convened in which the two candidates are stated in a secret vote by the municipal law.

Then the two candidates still have to be sworn in by the Interior Minister. Marc Lies runs the business until the election and swearing -in.
