Mayor Guy D’Haeseleer (56) no longer in intensive: « He now has to rest a lot » (Ninove)
The health status of the mayor of Ninove, Guy D’Haeseleer (Forza Ninove), is heading in the right direction. Since the evening he has been able to leave the intensive care department, as ships of Sport Malika Sclacmender (Forza Ninove) confirms, who is also plus daughter of D’Haeseleer (56), by telephone to our site.

D’Haeseleer was urgently admitted on Wednesday to the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Hospital in Aalst due to a severe and heavy form of hepatitis. His medical condition led him to be transferred from the hospital in Aalst to UZ Gent on Thursday afternoon.
Initially, the mayor had to undergo a liver transplant. It may not come to that, a decision on this is on ‘on hold’.
Sclacmender and her mother try to spend as much time as possible at D’Haeseleer in the hospital. « His values have improved. That is very positive news. He now has to rest a lot, » said SCLACMENDER. The politician will remain hospitalized for some time.
His powers were taken over by second ships and party colleague Ilse Malfroot. She remains acting mayor until D’Haeseleer can resume his duties.
