May 11 elections, 93 votes counting sites are assigned

The head of the CEC Ilirjan Celibashi today appointed, the vote counting sites for the 11th May 2025 elections. There are 93 counting sites, generally large-scale or sports gyms that meet the technical criterion of the area based on the number of ZAZs of ZAZ.

The votes counting sites are generally within the ZAZ territory, provide logistical facilities of road transport by ZAZ VCs, provide conditions for the application of support technology for votes and have a uninterrupted power supply system.

“Also, some additions were adopted in Decision No. 285, dated 18.03.2025, by the State Commissioner of Election“ On the Determination of Some Voting Centers in Private Buildings, for the Assembly of 11 May 2025 ”. Vlora.

The Commissioner approved the Standard Operation Procedure (PSO) for the preparation of envelopes with the electoral documentation for voters from abroad.

The standard operating procedure aims to detail the standard technical procedures for preparing the electoral documentation to be sent to the voters from abroad. This document is structured in 8 heads whose contents are specified:

1. Stages/steps of preparation of envelopes with electoral documentation;
2. the materials and equipment necessary for this process;
3. the procedure of preparing the set with electoral documentation for voters from abroad;
4. the responsible staff that is engaged in this process;
5. tasks/actions that staff performs for each of the stages of preparation of electoral documentation;
6. the necessary training;
7. organization of the work environment;
8. Organizing tournaments and employees.

Refusing this procedure, staff attached to the process of preparing envelopes with electoral documents for voters from abroad must sign the Confidentiality Declaration, and have authorized access to the preparation of election documentation. ”
