Max Hjelm: Why doesn’t the Left Party do with the conspiracy theories?

MP Lorena Delgado Varas (V) shares a picture of X showing a hand with the flag of Israel which, through threads, controls an American hand, which in turn controls soldiers from other countries – including Ukraine. Under the picture: A text that « Zionist Jews » control the world.

The iconography is classic in anti -Semitic conspiracies.

Delgado Varas defends herself that she wanted to say something other than what the picture shows – that her hands should change places, that Israel « is nothing but colonial tools for the United States », a comment that also stated in the post she shared.

Be that idea So important that this particular post – which happened to bring an image that is clearly anti -Semitic – needed to spread? Apparently.

Her explanation creates more questions anyway. So she just wanted to offer a new theory of how the Jewish state is involved in governing the world? Is her idea that the United States governs Israel, which in turn governs Germany, Ukraine and other countries?

For left -wing parties, strikingly conspiracies must be taken into account.

For most people, it is enough to criticize how Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with government brutally bombing Gaza and together, preventing emergency assistance and now also kills Auxiliary workers. For left -wing parties, strikingly conspiracies must be taken into account.

Something still Not being explained by Delgado Vais is that Ukraine is portrayed as a puppet doll to Israel and the United States. Is the power in Israel and controls Ukraine? Are their soldiers only « tools » for the West – do they not fight for their own independence? Is that how the Left Party means?

And yes, one should ask what the party – not just Delgado is – mean.

Because after the Jewish Central Council police reported the MP, everything that has happened has been to let her take « break », which only means that she is free until the police investigation is complete. The party’s view of right and wrong is apparently dependent on the police’s assessment. Everything that is legal is legal.

Lorena Delgado Varas wrote Just a couple of days ago that « the Swedish government is complicit » to kill a journalist, and that « they should be judged just like Netanyahu and Co ». In the International Criminal Court in The Hague then, may be adopted?

That language use is obviously no problem for V.

Last year, the Left Party was shaken by several anti -Semitism scandals. Each time the party reacted too little, too late. It is understood that party leader Nooshi Dadgostar must have a frustrating job. It is certainly tough to control a party that never gets rid of its extremists. But it is her responsibility to act resolutely.
