Mathematics high schools will be able to accept more fifth graders
The changes will eliminate the need to comply with the number of students completing the initial stage of education and will be more satisfied with the desires of parents and students to study in mathematical classes, the ministry said.
In the capital there are two schools with a state admission plan in the 5th grade-the Sofia Mathematics High School « Paisii Hilendarski » (SMG) and the National High School of Nature High School « Acad. Lyubomir Chakalov » (NPMG).
In his motives, Minister Krasimir Valchev admits that the training in 5th grade mathematics high schools is limited because their admission is in accordance with the number of students completing the initial stage of education. « The changes have been made, the head of the respective regional education management may propose more classes after coordination with the Minister of Education and Science at the proposal of the school principal in the presence of a material and technical basis and the security of the education with pedagogical specialists, » Valchev said.

The draft regulation states that the head of the RAW may propose that a second and the next class be discovered, but must also take into account the analysis of the implementation of a plan-reception for the previous three years.
The public discussion of the draft regulation expires on June 13, and then the Council of Ministers must approve it. The changes will come into force after their promulgation in the State Gazette.
