Mars Biniaris’ new performance at the ARK Theater – Kafka’s « Trial » with Odysseus Papaspiliopoulos
Following the « rise of Arturo Ui », Aris Biniaris will present at the Ark Theater, one of the most influential literary works of the 20th century, Franz Kafka’s iconic « trial ».
With caustic humor, Kafka demonstrates the attempt of a person to understand a society that crushes, like a wild machine, individual freedom.
In a world where « crime » is not always clear and laws seem arbitrary and vague, life looks like a constant and agonizing farce, while justice and truth disappear.
The character of Joseph K., who is on a dizzying course in the Kafkian universe, is interpreted in the performance by Odysseus Papaspiliopoulos, while the actors, Evita Agiti, Alexis, Alexis Vidasis Sotiris Tsakomidis, Nikolas Chatzivasiliadis et al.
