Marcelo receives PSD, arrives and PS and should indignate today Prime Minister

The President of the Republic will listen again, this Thursday afternoon, the PSD, the arrival and the PS about the formation of the next executive, and intends to indignate Luís Montenegro as Prime Minister today.

“I will listen first to the three parties. If I can afford to make a note out on that day, I do,” said Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa on Monday.

This afternoon, at Belém Palace, the PS will be received at 15h00, arrives at 16h00 and PSD at 17h00, in increasing order of parliamentary representation.

The objective of this second round of hearings with the three largest parties, held after the results of emigration results, is that the head of state confirms “the guarantee of stability” and can find out if this stability “goes to the government program, if it goes beyond the government program, as it is”.

It is recalled that the counting of the vows of the circles of emigration attributed two terms to AD and two others at the arrival, one for each party in each of the two circles, Europe and outside Europe. The PS for the first time did not elect any deputy with the votes of the emigrants.

Thus, the arrival became the second political force, with 60 deputies, behind AD that now has 91 (89 of the PSD and two of the CDS) and ahead of the PS that kept the 58 obtained in the national territory.
