Marc-Olivier Fogiel back on radio, in the morning of RTL-Liberation
A ghost to RTL. After managing BFM TV for five years, Marc-Olivier Fogiel55, will make his return behind the red and white microphone which saw him begin his career as a journalist. At the start of the September school year, he will carry out a daily interview in the morning, the station announced on Monday, May 19.
Another change: RTL morning will now be controlled only by Thomas Sotto, who joined it in September. « Every morning, I will offer an interview of ten minutes to 8:15 am (…) We will receive the man or the woman of the day, the one who will make the event », explains Marc-Olivier Fogiel at Parisian, specifying that « The political interview remains in the hands of Thomas Sotto, at 7:40 am ». “After my departure from BFM TV, I deliberately took time for me. In addition to his interview in the morning, the journalist will be « RTL’s voice for major special events », said the station, which belongs to the M6 group.
Marc-Olivier Fogiel was Director General of BFM TV from 2019 to summer 2024, when Fabien Namias replaced it. Previously, the journalist has officiated on RTL since 2012, in programs at the end of the day.
