Man gave 150 stab wounds to a woman he met at Tinder
A man stabbed a woman 150 times on Wednesday in the late afternoon, in the parking lot of Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon.
The victim was taken critical to the Santa Maria Hospital and the suspect, indicted for the crime of qualified homicide, in the attempted manner, a crime of offense to qualified physical integrity and a crime of detention of a prohibited weapon, was present to court, having been in preventive arrest, according to a statement by the Lisbon Attorney General.
Aggressor and victim « known through the Tinder application, having changed messages », but when it « expressed disinterest in continuing to contact the defendant, it began to follow it, from and to the workplace, and to its residence. »
On Wednesday, the man waited for the victim and when he saw her « withdrew a kitchen knife from his backpack, with which he struck about 150 blows, hitting her, trunk, face and upper limbs. »
A person passing by, seeing the scene, ran in defense of the victim, trying to push her from the aggressor, this is where he is also hit with several blows in his left hand.
“Once lying on the floor, the offended continued to be assaulted by the defendant, with kicks and blows on the head,” reads in the same statement.
Following the first interrogation to which it was submitted and, in accordance with the defendant by the Public Prosecution Service, the defendant was applied to the measure of coercion of pre -trial detention.
