Man first tries to lift victim for a handbag of 22,000 euros, but then gets guns up (Sint-Niklaas)

The facts took place on Friday, November 8, 2024. The victim then agreed with an unknown young man for the sale of a luxury handbag, a Hermès Kelly Epson 28 worth 22,000 euros. The handbag was offered for sale on the website 2dehands.be. For the sale, victim and potential buyer met in a cafe in Sint-Niklaas.

The young man agreed with the price and paid the victim through a bank app. He showed that the money had been transferred to him, but this was not on the victim's account. He decided not to give the handbag and agree on another time.

At 7.20 pm the young man left, but came back 10 minutes later with an excuse that he did not find his car keys and then left again. At 7.40 pm the victim left the cafe and walked to his car with his non -sold handbag. On the other side of the street, the suspect waited for the victim and stepped towards him.

The suspect took a gun from the pocket of his hoodie. He threatened the victim, pointed the gun and shouted. « Give me that bag now, if I shoot! » The victim put it on a walk and the suspect tried to hit the weapon on the victim's head. That failed, after which both victims and the perpetrator could escape.

The suspect was filmed by surveillance cameras showing that he was not acting alone. He was dropped off and picked up by a second person in a small yellow car. This seems white, but is in fact shining light yellow. The suspect is a man with dark half -length curly hair. He speaks with a Dutch accent. He was wearing a striking blue down jacket, jeans and striking sneakers.
