Maksymilian S. killed Jakub on the tracks. The prosecutor's office reveals details
Unknown motives of the crime
On August 17 last year, around 5.30 am, Jakub stood on the platform when he was unexpectedly attacked. Despite the immediate reaction of the services, there was no rescue for a young man. Investigators, having monitoring recordings, quickly determined that Maksymilian S. was behind the crime. What was the motive of this murder?
– We were unable to determine this – said prosecutor Mariusz Duszyński, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk in an interview with « Fakt ». – In the course of the investigation, it was established that the victim was pushed by Maksymilian S. from the platform directly under the wheels of the oncoming intercity train PKP as a result of which he died. The victim was unlucky that at that time she was within the reach of a drunk and stoned perpetrator.
This is not the first tragedy in the victim's family
Jakub, he was a calm and intelligent young man. He had a promising future ahead of him. He graduated from the University of Gdańsk. He did a bachelor, he worked at the bank. He managed to open his own business, but he had no chance to develop it anymore. He was organized, enterprising. He was passionate about tennis, he also managed to open his own business. The boy lost his mother in his childhood.
The perpetrator did not confess to the murder
Investigators determined that Maksymiliana S. had psychoactive measures to prepare 28 single portions of intoxicant. – The accused did not confess to the murder, and in complex explanations he stated that he did not intend to deprive the victim's life. He only confessed to having intoxicants – adds prosecutor Duszyński.
The perpetrator of this unimaginable crime has been in custody since August last year. The indictment has already been sent to court. Maksymilianów is threatened for the murder from 10 years to life imprisonment.
