On Friday, May 2, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Płock provided the latest information on the murder of 16-year-old Maja from Mława. Let us remind you that earlier the family reported the disappearance of a teenager. The corpse was disclosed on May 1 – exactly a week after the official reporting of the disappearance.
– Until now, the allegation of one person has been charged. This is an allegation of murder with particular cruelty – said a representative of the prosecutor’s office.

The prosecutor’s office confirmed that The victim knew the perpetrator. It was not revealed what accurate relationships they had. Maja met a friend on April 23. Then There was a murder.
We would like to remind you that the 16-year-old informed her family at the time that she was going to a friend with a friend for an evening. On April 24, the official disappearance of the teenager was reported. A macabre discovery was made on Thursday, May 1. It was then that « Fakt » determined that the girl was dead. Then the suspect 17-year-old went on a school trip to Greece. It was a « student exchange ».
Why did he kill? The perpetrator’s motive is still unknown
It is not known when the suspect will return to Poland. The procedure provides 60 days for this. – It should be expected that the suspect will be in Poland up to several weeks – was donated at the conference.
The 17-year-old has not yet been questioned. The prosecutor’s office knows no motives. Accurate relations between Ma and the 17-year-old are also unknown.
The death of a teenager probably occurred by head injury. The autopsy of the 16-year-old is scheduled for next week.
« Intentionally hidden body »
The prosecutor’s office also revealed that Maja’s body was « intentionally hidden » by the perpetrator. The corpse was revealed thanks to a specialized police dog, which was trained for such searches.
The body was found in an open area – he was overgrown and busy. « Near the perpetrator’s former wood plant, the spokesman of the prosecutor’s office pointed out.
The 17-year-old will not be tried as an adult, therefore he cannot be imposed on a lifetime imprisonment. He faces 15 to 30 years in prison.
