MAE warning for Romanians who go to Bulgaria
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs Romanian citizens who are, transit or intend to travel to Bulgaria that, between June 12, at 8:00 pm – June 13, 4:00, the authorities in the neighboring country will apply the temporary suspension of the road traffic on the Ruse – Giurgiu bridge for all categories of vehicles.
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends to the Romanian citizens who intend to transit the Danube I Giurgiu – Russian bridge to consider the mentioned period in which the road traffic will be stopped for crossing and to use the other crossing points between Romania and the Republic of Bulgaria, as follows: Vidin – Calafat, Kardam – Negru Vodă, Kainardzha-Lipnița, Nikopol-Turnu Măgurele (Feribot) (www.feribot-Europe.ro), Svishtov-Zimnicea (feribot) (www.ferry.bg), Oyahovo-Bechet (Feribot) (www.ferryboat.bg) and aydemir (Silistra)-Chici (Cărărași) (feribot) (www.spikaferry.com).
