Macroons, rim with meloni
Giorgia Meloni was surprised by her eyes after Emmanuel Macron whispered something while at the round table of G7.
The reaction came while the world leaders in the seven (G7) group-UK, USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the EU-met in the luxury resort Kananaskis, in the context of global crises that deepen both in Ukraine and in the Middle East.
Meloni was surprised by the room leaning to listen to what the French president whispered.
While world leaders are usually trying to keep an impassive face during the procedures, Meloni could not hide his reaction and seemed to keep his eyes on whatever Macron told him.
This follows an equally embarrassing meeting between Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carry and US President Donald Trump.
Cariy interrupted the US president from answering several questions after being asked about his immigration policy.
The Canadian Prime Minister interrupted the questions, telling the reporters: « I will exercise the role of President of G7, because we have a few minutes with the president and his team, and then we will have to start the meeting to address some of these important problems. »
The tensions at the summit erupted after Donald Trump said that the exclusion of Russia from the group in 2014 was a « big mistake » and even blamed it for the invasion of Ukraine by Vladimir Putin.
