The adverse situation in companies in the Chemes industrial park and the threat of loss of at least four hundred jobs as a result of dysfunctional energy infrastructure were highlighted at the beginning of the week by trade unionists from basic organizations in Nexis Fibers and Tytex Slovakia.

The manufacturer of industrial fibers Nexis Fibers shut down the production of March 28, as soon as the Chemes Industrial Park had terminated the lease for energy equipment without giving any reason. According to Kučeravý, they remain two to three days to solve the situation. If the power supply was restored again, they could start production in 24 to 48 hours.
