Macedonia with three representatives in Cairo

Macedonian karate will be represented by three competitors of the prestigious Premier League, which will be held this weekend in Egypt. Petar Spasenovski (category up to 84kg), Stefan Stojanovic (over 84kg) and both from Makpetrol in men, as well as Veronika Kostovska (up to 61kg) from Olympic women’s competition, will perform at the Tatami in Cairo.
Kostovska was the only Macedonian representative to play in the previous Premier League tournament, held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, where she recorded two wins and one defeat and was on the verge of being finished in the quarter-finals.
– We are preparing this period as always. The form rises and I can say it is at a high level. After the championship of Macedonia and the playoffs, this is the last check before the European Championship. As before, expectations are high, I will do my best to present myself and Macedonia in the best light – Kostovska’s multiple champion Kostovska told us.
The Premier League features the top 32 karate players and karatists in the world by categories, and 378 competitors from 65 countries have been reported for the event. G.
