Macedonia Summit 2025: The second day in the sign of artificial intelligence, education, investment and connection with the diaspora
The second day of the Macedonia2025 Summit offered a rich agenda with a focus on the future of education, the transformative power of artificial intelligence, global opportunities for Macedonian companies and the key role of the diaspora in national development.
The morning began with the panel « Redefining the Strategies for Foreign Direct Investment », moderated by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Macedonia2025, Victor Mizo, where prominent experts in the area of Europe and the region discussed smart investments and ways of utilizing the country’s economic potential. The « Education of the Future Education » panel was followed by the Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska, who raised the question of how to build new generations of leaders, thinkers and innovators, through reforms and exploiting the best international experiences.
Special attention was drawn to the inspiring conversation with Dao Jensen, president of Compass Uol, on « Artificial Intelligence, Levelness and the unconventional path », where the role of endurance and vision in technological entrepreneurship was highlighted. The « Artificial Intelligence Revolution » panel has brought concrete examples of how ICT innovation is already changing the traditional industry and business models.
As part of the second day of the Summit, a solemn ceremony for awards for academic excellence of scholarships from the program supported by the Atanas Bliznakoff Foundation of the United States. 11 students from Ss. Cyril and Methodius from Skopje, who have achieved success in the last three years of studies with an average of over 9.5.
The afternoon part of the program continued with two significant sessions: « New Era: As artificial intelligence redefines our world » and « Inspirational Conversation: In the Economic Evolution of Saudi Arabia », which have expanded the horizon of thinking about the global role of technology and strategic partnerships.
On the panel « Returning Investment, Moving Forward: The Role of the Diaspora in National Growth », moderated by Macedonia’s 2025 co-founder, John Bitov, representatives of successful companies from Nashinci from the world gave new perspectives on the economic integration of the diaspora with the domestic economy.
Executive Director of Macedonia 2025, prof. Dr. Nikica Mojsoska Blazevski assessed that the second day of the summit confirmed the essential value of this important event, as a place for exchange of innovative ideas, creating partnerships and presenting concrete initiatives.
– I am pleased to see the summit becoming a place where parts of people and leaders from different parts of the world are linked, united by a common vision – a stronger and more competitive Macedonia. The panels and interviews today were particularly quality, we talked about how to build generations of leaders, how to use artificial intelligence in a sustainable way and how to create an environment that will motivate Macedonian talents to return or invest in their homeland. The summit has shown its strength – to merge the best ideas with people they can realize – said Mojsoska Blazevski.
The conference part of Macedonia’s largest Summit2025, attended by 36 prominent speakers in 14 panel sessions and attended by over 700 representatives of domestic, global and diaspora companies, experts and leaders, will be closed this afternoon, when the state’s President Gorda Siljanovska is expected to address the state, Partnership and commitment to support the diaspora, innovation and education as drivers of development.
