Luxembourg’s Olympic committee has a new president
An era ended at 4:56 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. This year’s Congress of the National Olympic Committee took place in Walferdingen. The COSL has received a new president. After three consecutive terms, André Hoffmann was not allowed to run for the mandate of the chairman. Hoffmann has been the head of the committee since April 2012, at that time he had taken over the post of Marc Theisen.
Michel Knepper is Hoffmann’s successor. The former chairman of the triathlon association was the only candidate. The 64-year-old has been a member of the board since 2013. At the side of Hoffmann, he was last the first of two vice presidents and also cashier.

There were some personnel changes on Saturday on Saturday. Alwin de Prins, Marie-Paule Hoffmann and Caroline Weber had decided in advance not to compete.
