Luxembourg banks are introducing new transfer forms

The forms on paper are used because of their simplicity – especially because a series of data is often pre -filled, according to the abs, or by people who do not feel comfortable with online banking.
In order to facilitate the processing of transfers in paper form, the banks and payment service providers that belong to the ABL have worked on the further development of paper, with the support of Victor Buck Services. A new version of the forms will be introduced from June 2.
From 2026 only the new forms apply
The information on the transfer sheet will be better structured in the future, which enables more efficient and safe processing. « From October 9, 2025, users will also be able to specify whether they want their transfer to be treated as immediate payment, » according to the Abpl.
