Luxembourg advertises open economic systems
« In a difficult economic policy environment, trade, investments and innovation remain the basic prerequisites for prosperity, » says the OSCE and invited to a three -day minister. Three ministers from Luxembourg had traveled to Paris: Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel (DP), Finance Minister Gilles Roth (CSV) and the Minister of Economics Lex Delles (DP).

Minister Delles advocated an « open economic system based on clear and calculable rules to strengthen our economies, to ensure the same competitive conditions, to support SMEs and to fully exploit the potential of data, artificial intelligence and quantum technologies ».

In his speech, the minister Roth emphasized that Luxembourg, as one of the founding members of the OECD, continues to consider multilateralism as a key approach to coping with global challenges.
« Predictable and future -oriented public policies, especially those that are geared towards competitiveness, are vital. Forwardability and stability give the companies the trust they need to invest and grow, » he said.
