On Thursday they were brought to the Grand Duchy by Luxembourg Air Ambulance.
On the occasion of the relocation of the patients to Luxembourg, the Minister of Health and Social Security, Martine Drez, emphasized the importance of this campaign: « Behind every evacuation there is a human reality. Luxembourg makes his contribution as a sign of solidarity by taking patients whose health is threatened by the crisis. By offering them access to medical care, we guarantee a moment of calm and dignity.
Did the Israeli army specifically execute Palestinian rescue workers?
This campaign is part of the call that the World Health Organization (WHO) started as part of the European Union’s civil protection proceedings. It was coordinated by the Ministry of Health of the Grand Duchy in cooperation with the WHO and the Luxembourg hospitals.
The patients were founded by the Grand Ducal Fire Brigade and Rescue Corps (Cgdis) transported to a hospital. The accommodation and psychosocial care of the patients is financed by the management for development cooperation in humanitarian measures as part of a project of the Luxembourg branch of the Red Cross.
