Luxair strokes flights for strikes in Germany

(Update March 10th): The Verdi union started its warning strikes at 13 German airports on Monday, paralyzing large parts of air traffic.

Employees from the public service of the airport operators, soil traffic services and the air security areas in various tariff conflicts have been on the ground since 0.00 a.m., as a spokesman for the union confirmed. The warning strike should take 24 hours.

Disruptions in Luxair flight operations

As Luxair announced on Sunday evening, there are additional disorders in the flight schedule due to the strike. Already on Sunday, the return flight Luxembourg-Hamburg and Hamburg-Luxemburg was unexpectedly canceled due to the current situation at Hamburg Airport. In addition, the flight from Hamburg to Luxembourg will also be deleted on Monday. As for Berlin, the Luxair flights for March 10, as already announced, are canceled.
