Lunar Light Festival will again transform night Sofia
Since 2022, over 90 light works have been presented as part of the event, created by 57 authors and studios from 18 countries. Through one of the latest types of art, Lunar presents important messages about the future of the planet, technological development, freedom of self-expression and many others, and the audience will again have the opportunity to stroll through the city gallery in the open-air gallery, thanks to works created specifically for emblematic buildings, parks and squares.
« We are happy that we have been able to create a scene for innovative and quality light art for four years now and that Lunar is becoming one of the traditional light festivals in Europe. And this year, together with our followers, we have prepared a quality art program that will surprise all visitors from the country and abroad, » says Marin Petkov, founder of MP-Studo Partnership with Festival of Lights International Productions GmbH.
Last year, the festival was visited by over 600,000 people, and the 4.5-kilometer route in the central part of the city presented various types of light art created by artists from around the world, located in 22 locations.
