The Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukaschenko Has released a convicted oppositional from custody at the request of the United States, which also has a US pass. US foreign minister Marco Rubio announced the release of a US citizen. Lukaschenko’s spokeswoman Natalja Ejsmont confirmed in Minsk that it was Yuri Senkovich (47).

Rubio wrote in the social network X, within 100 days of President Donald Trump in office, « the release of 47 wrongly imprisoned Americans was reached » – also in Russia, Afghanistan and Venezuela.
