LTH Castings has spread in Ljubljana

LTH Castings, a group operating in Slovenia, Croatia and Northern Macedonia, has expanded its business by purchasing Litostro Power premises. LTH Castings bets on e-mobility.

“At its location in Ljubljana, LTH Castings continuously expands capabilities for the production of electric car components, which is one of the central strategic orientations of the group. LTH Castings products will be present in all electric cars of new Mercedes-Benz (MMA, MB.EA-M) and BMW (Neue Klasse). The core of the production of parts for electric cars with the most advanced technologies and pressure foundry machines was established at the Ljubljana plant, which is constantly increasing due to growth. This year, the location in Ljubljana was expanded by purchasing additional premises of Litostroj Power. One of the most important investments for the LTH Castings Group is the acquisition of an additional pressure pressure with a closing force of 3,500 tonnes at the Ljubljana plant, « the company said.

In addition to Škofja Loka, LTH Castings also has a modern manufacturing plant in the former Litostroj industrial complex, in which it produces the most demanding aluminum castings on several advanced, highly automated production lines. These are components of e-automobiles such as pieces for powertrains and other structural pieces for world car manufacturers and their system suppliers. By participating in the development of new Mercedes-Benz (MMA, MB.EA-M) and BMW (Neue Klasse), they have further strengthened customers’ confidence from a long tradition of quality cooperation, LTH Castings development achievements and technological sophistication.

In the financial year of 2024, the Group realized sales revenues of € 454 million, with eight percent growth compared to 2023, which comes from the start of the newly acquired projects in the field of e-mobility. The volume of investments last year amounted to EUR 57 million.
