LTB Park Gardens Branch Personnel received Occupational Health and Safety Training – Cyprus Newspaper
LTB Park and Gardens Branch Personnel, Agricultural Department, Forestry Department and Fire Department with the contribution of experts with the contribution of presentation and applied occupational health and safety training.
In the Central Nicosia training, the staff refreshed their knowledge by learning both safe working methods and current techniques for their own business areas.
According to the information given from LTB, LTB Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Fatoş Anter explained the basic obligations of the Occupational Health and Safety Law with his presentation titled “Obligations of Employers and Employees”.
Nazife Arab and Agricultural Engineer Menekşe Aydoğdu, an agricultural engineer from the Agricultural Department, gave information about “Effective and Safe use of Agricultural Pills” and conveyed the issues to be considered in practice. Serkan Alkanat, a cutting manager of the Forestry Department, made an practical narrative on “Effective and Safe Pruning Methods”.
Ahmet Kayıkçı, the Assistant Firefighters from the Fire Department of the Police Department of Nicosia, gave an practical training on “Fire Extinguishing Techniques” and showed the right intervention methods in the event of fire.
