« Loving to lose » Guit brothers, bet at all costs – Liberation
The guits are two brothers and it’s their second film. They offer the distinction of being immigrant Parisians, and immigrants in Belgium. Brussels has become their playground, they are villains. However, like many immigrants – that is not said enough – they soon endured the culture of the country of election better than the natives. Like to lose, After Son of Ploucis more Belgian than Belgian films, a square to the square, comic strip with the line not very clear. Even the two actors that we recognize there, Catherine Ringer – who in Mohair dressing gown has not stolen her name contracted in genius « Dédé » -, and Melvil Poupaud – who finally seems to play in the mocky he did not do – look more Belgian than Yolande Moreau or a Benoît Poelvoord.
