That the last match that Slaven lost on Rujevica will not be a benchmark, the coach believes Mary Kovacevic.
– Our last championship games looked like they were in the shadow of this game. I believe the players will react the way they need it because this is our historic opportunity to win the Cup. We know we didn’t play well at the last game and Rijeka deservedly celebrated. We also know that the hardest possible job awaits us on Rujevica, but one match separates us from the trophy and we have to do our best. We are pleased that 900 of our fans are coming, we will do our best to cheer them up in the end – says Kovacevic.
The Koprivnica chief of the profession immediately rejected the thesis that his team would find the river hangover from the celebration of the championship title.
– If we go with that thought down, then we better not even go on the road.
