Lithuania will swear nearly 700 new members of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union
“Freedom is not a gift. Freedom must not only be used, but also to protect it, so it is the duty of each of us to be prepared to defend it. The better the public is ready and motivated to participate in universal defense, the safer our dear homeland will be, ”said the Deputy Commander of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union, temporarily replacing the Union Commander, Col. lt. On the morning of March 11 in Lukiškės Square in Vilnius, nearly 200 adult shooters are preparing to pronounce the words of the shooter's oath, and nearly 300 young people from 11 to 18 will give a pledge to the young shooter.
Citizens of the European Union and NATO, who live in Lithuania, will also participate in the solemn event in Vilnius – they will become sponsors of the Lithuanian Riflemen's Union.
