Linkin Park arrives in Munich: she will sing at the Champions League final
The legendary Linkin Park will, according to the announcement of the UEFA, perform at this year’s Champions League final in Munich. The finals were scheduled for May 31 at the Allianz Arena.
This will be the first great appearance of the band in front of a wide audience after the tragic death of the frontman Chester Benningtonwho passed away in 2017 at the age of 41. Uefa has announced a special remix that will connect the distinctive rifs of the band with the sounds and visuals of the Uefa Champions League.
The band recently introduced Emily Armstrong As a new main vocalist and announced a new album « From Zero » and a world tour that starts on April 26 in Austin, Texas.

Linkin Park will be the ninth performer performing at the Champions League final since Alicia Keys started this tradition in 2016 in Milan. Since then, Black Eyed Peas, Dua Lipa, Imagine Dragons, Marshmello, Camila Cabello, Burna Boy and Lenny Kravitz have performed.
Linkin Park, founded in 1996, achieved international success with his debut album « Hybrid Theory » (2000), which has been sold in more than 32 million copies worldwide. The band sold more than 100 million albums in total, and after Bennington’s death in 2017, they were mostly on a break, with the exception of publishing the song « Lost » in early 2023.
