This can be combined with family and professional responsibilities. – If someone asks how much he has to learn a language a day, I say all day. But this is not a rite or forging – he explains.

« You can learn the tongue by going out for a walk with the dog, you can while making makeup or brushing your teeth, while driving a car, » he says. And he emphasizes that you do not need to focus on cramming grammar, only on communication and speaking from the very beginning.

On the way to work or school, listen to podcasts in a foreign language or repeat phrases and sentences. This can be done by doing almost any activity, such as cleaning, washing dishes, walking or shopping. Each opportunity is good to repeat. Let’s not be afraid to speak in a foreign language
A good way is to hang cards with words and sentences that we repeat during a break at work or at home. Driving a car we have enough time to listen to the lessons with the necessary phrases. In this way, we not only expand the vocabulary, but also actively speak in a foreign language, which is most important. We should speak, even if we make mistakes, even if we say at the level of « kali eat » or « kali give ».
Piotr Kruk suggests that it is not the science of words that is effective, but repeating them in a given context, in a sentence. At the beginning he wondered what he was doing wrong that learning a language takes him for so long. It began to study Italian at the end of October, and after 3 months, when he went to Italy, he used the language there freely. Later, he studied Croatian in the same way, because he was forced to do this business. He studied Russian similarly.
A foreign language should accompany us all the time
Kruk emphasizes that he himself has no talent for foreign languages, but his method allowed him to learn the language to such an extent that he would use it in free communication. He refutes the myth that a foreign language cannot be learned because of how many duties we have.
– It consists in a completely deepening of the tongue, you can listen to an audiobook in a foreign language, you can listen to a podstan, you can listen to the radio in a foreign language – he says. This method was used by the well -known singer Mike Patton. When he moved with his wife to Italy, he sat alone at home for most of the day and used this time to learn the language. He listened to the radio in Italian, watched Italian television, later read newspapers, repeated phrases and sentences. This method allowed him to learn the language in a few months.
Motivation and regularity are important
– In this way you start thinking in this language, you will hear some expression and check it in the application, you use it the next day. If we approach language learning in this way, we are able to learn the language very quickly – he explains. By learning the words themselves, we will not be able to use them. Watching movies in a foreign language is a great way. Initially, it is difficult, but in time we begin to understand more and more, we learn to speak, we learn to speak with the right accent.
Why don’t people learn foreign languages? Most are explained by a lack of time. Motivation is also often lacking.
– We should learn the language by directing ourselves to our own needs. A person who wants to learn a language to use it on vacation should learn what they need, what he will do. We have to learn all the phrases and use what we have learned immediately – he says. – The first question we should ask ourselves, why we need this language and focus our learning – he adds.
