« Light Games » Exhibition by Vladimir Gjorgiev

The exhibition « Games of Light », Actors and Portraits of Vladimir Gjorgiev will be set up tonight at the MKC Gallery at 7 pm.
Vladimir Gjorgiev is a prominent Macedonian photographer with four decades of rich experience in artistic and commercial photography. His trip to the world of photography begins with the black and white technique and his own laboratory, creating a unique photographic manuscript that is constantly evolving.
Its opus covers a wide range of genres – from fashion and portrait photography, through an art act to macro and landscape photography. The mastery in working with the light and the extraordinary sense of aesthetics distinguishes his style, which is particularly visible in his editorials and headlines for prestigious magazines, including « Playboy Macedonia ».
His work is presented at a number of solo exhibitions in Skopje, Poland and Chicago. As a recognized professional in his field, he was selected as an official photographer and makeup artist at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden in 2000. In addition to art photography, Gjorgiev has a rich portfolio in commercial and product photography, creating striking billboards and CDs for prominent artists.
For the last twelve years he has been actively working in the field of staff photography, while in the latest exhibition « Games of Light » returns to his favorite themes-the artistic act and the portrait, demonstrating top mastery in manipulation of light.
The exhibition can be visited by April 24.
