Running – a song of the Children’s Culture Festival
This year’s festival, running, is performed by the support in Inspector Spacetime, which composed the song, but the text is their collaborative project and children in the city’s fourth grades. Students were given the task of answering various questions about what the words are out to play.
Teams of the band Inspector Spacetime, Egill Gauti Sigurjónsson, Elías Geir Óskarsson and Vaka Agnarsdóttir received the lyrics from the children and made lyrics with the song. They say the collaboration with the children has been very fun and rewarding.
Inspector Spacetime performed the song at the opening events of the Children’s Cultural Festival for the full hall of children in Harpa’s Eldborg Hall today.
