Lidl’s feta chicken salad batch Salmonelle risk Hs.fi
Retrospective|Salmonella, a batch of raw materials used in the salad, has been found elsewhere in the EU. Previously, Lidl also said that it would pull back a batch of milk chocolate because of the risk of salmonelle.
Grocery chain Lidl pulls back lots of feta chicken salad due to the risk of salmonelle for sunflower seeds used there.
On Friday, Lidl reported that the Food Agency has announced the back draws of the various actors, where sunflower seeds or products containing them have been taken out of sale. Salmonella has been found elsewhere in the EU in the raw material batch of sunflower seeds used in the products.
Lidl’s recall applies to items of Chef Select feta chicken salad, which uses the same batch of sunflower seeds. The recall applies to salads with a final date of use from April 4 to April 10, 2025.
The product can be returned to the Lidl store, where the price of the product is credited.
Lidl says he regrets the extra harm to customers.
Previously On Friday, Lidl also said that it would pull back a batch of milk chocolate due to the risk of salmonelle.
The retraction applies to the Way To Go Land Milk Chocolate and sea salt -flavored milk chocolate in 180 grams. The retraction applies only to products with the best before date on February 19, 2026.
According to Lidl, the recall is made because the products of that lot in question are in the risk of salmonelle.
The product can be returned to the Lidl store, where the price of the product is credited. Lidl says he regrets the extra harm to customers.
