Library and auxiliary shop in one blanket
A magazine will be broken in the history of the Kópavogur Library in May next when the Blush Aid Shop will hold a presentation on the Library’s Women’s Evening. Probably there are few who associate pleasures and industry with libraries, as the director of the museum says that this is a unique example.
The idea, however, is not completely out of the air and is actually a real April Fool’s realization of 2023 when the library announced that it had gone to one blanket with Blush and would hold the promotion of the company’s pleasure.
The case caused the vibration of Kópavogur’s good citizens who breathed lightly when it was revealed that it was a hoax.
Can undoubtedly raise the scandal
Lísa Zachrison Valdimarsdóttir, director of the library, is not very concerned about the condemnation of the activity and hopes that the women who will attend the event will be well -versed.
« We had a April Fool on this two years ago. In fact, the idea around it woke up. We have never had a women’s night before so we decided to try, » says Lisa.
Asked if she is worried that someone will be shocked at the activity, she does not say so.
« I’m not worried about it, but no doubt it can happen, » says Lisa.
« The libraries have changed so much and are not as conservative as before, » says Lísa.
Unique case
Is it common for companies to enter the library to promote products and services?
« No, it’s almost never. This is a unique case that came up in connection with the April Day at the time, » says Lísa.
