Lezha opens the 2025 tourist season with a colorful celebration in Shengjin
Lezha officially opened the tourist season for 2025 with a festive event in Shengjin, where culture, music and promotion of tourist resources of the area were intertwined. The ceremony, held last night by the Adriatic, gathered personalities of political and diplomatic life from Albania, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia and the Presevo Valley, as well as dozens of visitors and vacationers from Albanian lands.
Among the guests were the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja; Former Speaker of the North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferri; Mayor of Presevo, Ardita Sinani; Mayor of Suhareka, Bali Muharremaj; Kosovo Ambassador to Albania, Skender Dyrmishi, as well as many other public figures.
The Mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, in his greeting speech, said that “Shengjini, Talja and Lezha have undergone radical changes year after year. We are proud of the progress we have made in tourism development, but we remain aware that we still have much work. attractive to vacationers ”.
The festive atmosphere was ignited by the performances of renowned artists Luiz Ejlli and Teuta Selimi, who brought a beloved public repertoire, giving unforgettable moments to the attendees.
An integral part of the holiday was the traditional craft and culinary fair, where local producers exposed the authentic values of the cultural heritage of the area – from the craft to the characteristic of Lezha and beyond. Local products, craft wines, olive oil, traditional cheese and Mediterranean coastal cuisine tastes were welcomed by visitors.
In the activity spaces, tour operators presented packages and offers for the new season, aiming to attract not only local holidaymakers but also tourists from the region and beyond. Investments in accommodation, tourist guides, certified beaches and sports and recreational activities are turning Lezha into an important destination for Albanian tourism.
Lezha, blessed with numerous natural, historical and cultural resources, including lagoon, mountains, nature monuments, forts, and archaeological sites, remains one of the most favorite areas by holidaymakers – especially those from Kosovo, who choose Shengjin for summer vacations each year.
