Lezha changes the figures, the PS descends to 82 seats. PD goes to 52

The time marks 21:00, and the Lezha district seems to have changed its mandates where the Socialist Party goes down to 82 seats, as the DP goes to 52.

Numerators across the country have counted 3538 ballot boxes from 5225 that are all over Albania. According to the official figures reported by the Central Election Commission, votes in each district translated into mandates, give a picture where the Socialist Party leads deeply.

Counting other boxes continues, but no surprise for the SP is expected, as it is safe. The Socialists have so far 82 seats, with the best result in Tirana, Fier, Durres and Elbasan. The Socialist Party convincingly leads with 494376 votes or 52.54%, which according to the CEC projection, will be translated into 82 seats to the end.

As for the new parties, Tom Doshi’s PSD is a third political force in the Assembly for three terms, the « NISMA Albania » coalition has 1 mandate, while the opportunity party has two terms and moves together one mandate.
