Letter to the editor. The Foreign Minister is wrong and the Kremlin Right about Trump's United States
Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) may not be serious about Donald Trump's US a very credible ally? After Trump's bravado, it is more likely that instead of honoring NATO Article 5, he will withdraw some US military from Europe and normalize relations with Russia so that Putin can equip militarily, perhaps in the hope of getting Putin on his side against China.
Trump's United States is our enemy and as long as his line applies no longer exists. We cannot take for granted that the trumped Republicans lose in the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives, the Senate and the White House.
Europe must therefore set up the plans for a West 2.0 that prepares militarily, civilian and morally. A vest where Europe and other democracies bears the torch of freedom in one hand and a large groove in the other.
Europe should As a manifestation for this request back the goddess of liberty and put it in Paris. The Americans initially did not want to receive it.
