Letter to the editor. Start a trading boycott to put pressure on Israel

Open letter to Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M):

People in Gaza are starving as a result of Israel’s blockade. Children starve. The violence is increasing and an already tormented and deeply traumatized civilian population is not only affected by the ongoing warfare, but also by escalating violence in the starvation of the starvation.

The outside world has closed their eyes for far too long. It is more than time for Sweden, Europe and the rest of the world to show a backbone and start a trading boy against Israel.

To say Being worried is hardly enough, no one helps. Instead, concrete action is required, which shows that Israel’s war is unacceptable and that international law and human rights cannot be violated in the way that happens.

For too many Palestinian families, it’s too late. The damage cannot be repaired. The extent of the disaster, we cannot imagine well -to -do Westerners. But we have to try. We must take on the testimonies that reach us.

Now it is time for the outside world to finally join together and put pressure on Israel, so that the war and the monstrous treatment of the civilian population in Gaza cease and a peaceful solution can be reached on the conflict that has been going on as long as I can remember (I am 64 years old) and which cost too much in human suffering. Sweden’s government must act now!
