Through Trump’s stopped assistance to the world’s poorest countries calculates the UN The fact that millions of people die in AIDS and other diseases – without the support, the countries cannot afford the vital medicines. Trump thus qualifies on the list of world history’s worst mass murderers: Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao Zedong …
Jens Busch

Authoritarians guarantee: Khamenei with the Revolution Guard, Trump with the National Guard.
Alpo Heinonen, Botkyrka

What hopeful joy to see all hundreds of thousands of Americans jointly use their democratic rights and obligations in connection with the President’s Pathetic birthday party. This is despite the threat of « hard grip » against all protesters from the US commander. What is now starting to happen is more important than a clear democratic leader, who can be imprisoned at any time, or as in Minnesota, executed by a « Christian » right -wing extremist. You can probably find a reasonably stylish candidate in the future. No support from the EU, and certainly not from a Swedish right-wing conservative « IS in the stomach » government, is probably excluded. But still a hope for those who do not want to live in a totalitarian country with everything it means by military against citizens, arbitrary random mass expulsions, oppression of minorities, science contempt. The consequences are incomprehensible. And it goes fast.
Per Hammarin

Putin, Netanyahu, Trump and Erdogan and others. How has the world been able to end up under their dictatorship. You can’t help but wonder. We live in 2025. Thanks for the DN’s submission department, that you can react …
Alli Savolainen, Pensioner and Grandma

Talk about paradigm shift! Hit but no longer shows our Foreign Minister (DN 12/6), and not a word about Israel’s right to defend itself. But immediately thereafter, she glances on the back door: « Right now, there is much to indicate that Israel » violates international humanitarian law. So it’s been a long time. What happened « right now » is that even Maria Malmer Stenergard discovered what is going on. But I want to raise another question. Doesn’t the opposition of Israel also be assigned a responsibility for the misery, or is that thought heath? If the party tactics were placed on the shelf and accepted Benjamin Netanyahu as prime minister, he would not have had to lean on the extremists. Real policy is called it. In the opposition’s defense it can be said that no one could foresee 7/10 2023. Nor could Netanyahu.
Anders Nordlund, Uppsala

The decades of the Western world of resistance to Israel’s brutal occupation and oppression of the Palestinians have – together with the continuous weapons deliveries – contributed to Israel’s attacks on Iran now having incomprehensible consequences in the region. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seems to say that he can do exactly what he wants and that no one will stop him when he now wants to shift focus from death -shot Palestinians in Gaza’s food queues to bomb goals in Iran and kill Iranian top militaries and researchers instead. All this under the pretext to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Israel’s own nuclear weapons is carefully silent. Not much is heard from the EU, even though a scenario with millions of refugees can be seen on the horizon. Perhaps the EU’s highest leadership will be upset to continue to support a prime minister internationally wanted for suspected war crimes and whose policy is now also threatening with something except all control.
Börje Ståhl, Stockholm

The Social Democrats want Using housing policy To overcome segregation. The idea may be good, but not very well thought out. Moving does not mean that by definition you adopt the lifestyle of the environment. Honor oppression does not just disappear because you get a new address. We already know this because many who have come to our country have brought with them – and guys – traditions that are not compatible with Swedish legislation. Still, this is allowed to continue. I could never accept a neighbor where there is a repression – it goes without saying. I was born and raised in Sweden with all that it entails of equality and equal value. When it comes to discriminating against women, forcing them to wear a veil, ban them to participate in sports lessons, spending time with male friends and so on – all that I could possibly be able to Åse without feeling very bad. So, Magdalena Andersson & Co – it’s not « just » to move on people and think it will solve problems. We who are Swedish, with all that it means in the form of how we have been raised to think and feel, we cannot be forced to accept and interact with people who do not respect the obvious – very beautiful and important – freedom we were born and grown up with!
Kristin Rydberg, Panty

It is right for politicians to say what they think. But it can get worse afterwards, when politicians are allowed to do exactly what they think.
Roland Ingemarsson, Hellvi

Keep a close look at when our politicians justify restrictions on our freedoms and rights and the strengthening of the government’s power with the aim of safeguarding our security and democracy in times of emergency and crisis. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) and opposition leader Magdalena Andersson (S) are not autocrats, but some of their measures to strengthen democracy and security can paradoxically bed for future autocrats.
Niclas Kuoppa, Stockholm

The ongoing mosquito between the government and side About Unrwa and SD’s Hepatica Provides a prejudice about how it feels to live in a rogue state. We should be grateful that we have a free pressure so far. Björn Söder (SD), but also Karin Janse (M) and Benjamin Dousa (M) would probably be without such a hangout so they could get mosquitoes in peace.
Bo Wahlström, Uppsala

So now Sida’s Director General Jakob Granit shows where he has his sympathies. He runs over all his co -workers in order to Instead supporting an SD project (read: redo the story). Instead of supporting, for example, Unrwa to help Gaza, they are forced to make a « broader » interpretation of the rules and lock millions for SD projects. Dirty! Replace Jakob Granite, replace the Minister of Development Disability Benjamin Dousa!
Elisabeth Edström, Tullinge

« As a politician » Björn Söder (SD) thinks that Many officials should be replaced. I think Söder as a politician should be replaced.
Rolf Olofsson, Pensioner in Älta

You could in Sunday’s DN Read that the investigator appointed by the Church Board, Göran Enander, saw its proposal for the management of its forest. The consequence of the Church Board’s proposal is a poorer protection for its forest rather than the opposite. Imagine that the church cannot see that the forest is nature’s own church and as such should be treated with dignity.
Mats Grape, biologist

Reply to Christer Zaar (Noted on June 12): Certainly Gaza is to be regarded as an enclave. The entire coastline is controlled by Israel and ship traffic is not allowed. The border with Egypt is closed and Israel controls the boundary line. Perhaps it is even four enclaves with the buffer zones that have now been implemented.
Lennart Petersen, Spånga

Now it has happened again: Åkesson in the picture behind the sign « Government » (page 12 in DN 16/6). No, he is not included in the government!

Just want to agree with the submitter « I’m increasingly ashamed of Sweden ».
