Who voted for the politicians who drove a whole population to become participants in a sick, apocalyptic « hunger games » with thousands of tons of food rotting outside fencing ?
Lotta Nordkvist

Finally, our Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) has been clear. She says that a country is right To board a ship on international water, which was on its way to the war zone in Gaza with food. On the ship was Greta Thunberg, among others. Now I think that the Foreign Minister together with our rather powerless prime minister should make sure that all the wreck -like vessels with Russian oil should be stopped and boarded on international water in the Baltic Sea. They pose a huge danger to the Baltic Sea survival. Finally show courage!
Lars Svenson, Helsingborg

Quotes from DN 10/6: « Instead of fighting for the climate, she has become an extremist activist, says Israel’s ambassador to the GP. » Anyone (GP’s interviewer?) Could tell the Embassy Move that not only an unreasonable genocide is going on but also an environmental destruction but like. Greta knows exactly what she is doing. One can congratulate the Israeli settlers who will try to grow something edible on mass graves, bombers and poisoned soils.
Lars Erik Morin Villouta, translator, Hägersten

Thanks, Greta Thunbergfor your courage and because you stand up for what you believe in! You are a good role model for young women (and even boys). I fully support you!
Annchristin Alm, Umeå

Donald Trump thinks Greta Thunberg needs to take a course to manage their anger. He throws stones in glass houses. Too bad he did not realize his own course needs after the loss in the 2020 presidential election.
Tomas Attorps

Yesterday I went around Djurgården and stopped at Memorial Freedom Gatewhich was erected as a thank you to the Swedes and Sweden for the solidarity they showed to fellow human beings from, among others, Estonia during the Second World War. Where did the solidarity go in the Palestine issue? How can the government look at when it is going on « Hunger Games » On real? Now it is up to us ordinary people to do something for the Palestinians when the government is paralyzed.
Sean Holmes, Farsta

Tonight’s DN Debate article Of SD peaks Jimmie Åkesson and Mattias Bäckström is a real low-water mark! Obviously, the two gentlemen lack the history knowledge required to comment on several of the popular movements listed in the article. As far as I remember, my generation learned that it was thanks to early cooperative associations that we got the democracy we have today. The earliest popular movements fought for universal suffrage and it is a matter of course that the members of the same later became supporters of the Social Democrats. Or rather, the Social Democratic Party has sprung from the popular movements. We got social democracy. Åkesson and Bäckström Johansson try to write about the story. We should not be fooled into believing in this bullshit! For the « sake of liberal democracy », it is of the utmost importance to see this attempt to rewrite the emergence of the Social Democratic Party. And one may wonder how long the Swedish Democrats should « suck on the caramel » which is about the Social Democrats’ lottery business. It’s pathetic!
Solveig Rosenlind

Jimmie Åkesson (SD) says to Expressen: « If you have any connection to a criminal network, you have nothing to do in our party. » Okay, but except if you invite a gang leader to your wedding, right?
Helmi Franklin

Reports will come about severe IT disorders in, among other things SVT’s operations. Possible players are mentioned, but safe « tracks » are difficult to fix. For some reason, I will think of the foreign U-boats of the 1980s in Swedish waters.
Brother Tegelid, Östersund

How wise is it to show names, companies and face of people whose work aims to prevent cyberattacks from companies and authorities (Current 11/6)? Especially in times of strongly increasing overload attacks and impact operations. Shouldn’t these be anonymous for their individual security?
Dick Andersson, Vaxholm

Reads in DN about crime, shootings and violence. Now it has also penetrated into the common man in our society. When the neighbor threatens to kill and light a fire at one’s house, you shake all the way into the bone marrow. This is reality in our « fine » area. What do you do? If you are Swedish and with common sense then « you lie low ». Do not want to step up the event. Don’t understand how this can happen. Wondering how these people grew up? Bad childhood, lived in a society with criminals and violence, also a language that does not belong to a « ordinary » family. Thinking a lot about this.
Kristina Pettersson, Pensioner, Vällingby

The cry skull, apologize to everyone. Apologize is appropriate if in bio -sex you happen to push to a relative. But when the consequences of an act or passivity are not trifles, an apology appears as a trivialization of suffering, a comfortable escape from responsibility, « I apologized ». The excavation of Sami’s remains is an example, adoption scandal another. Require cure and improvement, not excuses.
Anders Nordlund, Uppsala

The Government proposes that future governments should given greater opportunities to make decisions in the case of crises. It is very inappropriate because we can get ministers from the Swedish Democrats, a party that uses undemocratic methods And strives for its ideology to dominate all public operations. Authoritarian politicians see extreme situations as a chance to increase their power, such as Donald Trump now sends military protests against the deportations of immigrants. Unfortunately, the guys support the government’s proposal. Therefore, it will be a dormant constitutional proposal that we all decide on through our vote in parliamentary elections 2026.
Dag Henning, Linköping

Reply to Leif Borre (Noted on June 10): I think you are referring to prime minister (“Now we get organized in the climate, the economy, the crime and the unemployment and more). Have we ever seen its like? You get to call corps. Totally invertebrate. Fy, Sweden, you are ashamed!
Lasse Roos

I have seen several complaints on the new Slussen that it is a large wall that obscures the facades on the south. I went down to Slussen to see what it looks like. It is correct: there is a wall and it has some height seen from the Old Town. But it seems that the complaint choir has missed an important detail: there is a large height difference between the Old Town and Södermalmstorg. And seen from Södermalmstorg, the wall is just meters high – a natural barrier so that people do not roll down. One meter there or here does nothing for the line of sight of Söder’s facades. The fact that they disappear depends easily on what nature looks like. On the whole, I think the place that is growing looks promising. Not least if you compare the sunny oversized traffic carousel that was there before. The Mälart stairs are a real lift: you can walk in a straight line from Södermalmstorg to the Old Town. And also without being flanked by cars. Or if you get on a bicycle from the Munkbron and are going to Stadsgården. Previously, it was up for the hill and down in dark tunnel. Now you can pass under the Gold Bridge without level differences. And you see that there is actually a lock there! Previously, it was well hidden under all clover leaves. And the place is open and welcoming. You can of course have views on details. Now it’s a rough stone wall. Others may have preferred smooth walls with murals on or something else. But nothing can conjure the height differences between Södermalmstorg and Old Town.
Erland Summer Forest, Stockholm

The actors in the ICA commercials earn millions on their films. In the first years, the films could be really entertaining, but in recent years the jokes have been substandard. The films survived themselves. Suggestions for ICA: Skip these films, show the « simple » films where we customers get to know extra prices. This would mean that you save a lot of money and may be able to lower prices more than competitors. Then you get more customers …
Olle Gunnarsson, Umeå

Reply to Lars Ekman (Noted on June 10)) that complains about TV4’s high noise level: Why does SVT have so low and unclear sound level, especially on report? The majority who see SVT are older. On other channels I have 8–9 in volume against 12-14 on SVT, sometimes higher.
Tore Loftheim, Årsta

Opinions about DN

As a news consumer, I feel unhealthy in terms of Swedish aid to Gaza. DN should be an independent newspaper and I would like information about what is right or wrong II our Swedish assistance to Gaza. The aid through the UN agency UNRWA were paused Due to suspected contact with Hamas. The Swedish government is now broadcasting our assistance through other channels. The opposition blames the government because our government does not send aid through UNRWA. In addition, is not our government either in agreement with the Swedish aid authority page, which is remarkable. What is right or wrong in this? Will our assistance come to Gaza? Does Unrwa better come up with its help efforts?
Kent Hedbom, Skärholmen

On Saturday, June 7, a gigantic demonstration was held against Israel’s war in Gaza. Thousands marched in Stockholm. My newspaper DN did not write a line about this. The were found on the newspaper’s websitebut no one is seriously believed that a subscriber should first read the newspaper and then go out and look for the website for other news. DN betrayed its readers. Unfortunately, I now hear conspiracy theories that there was a plan behind the fad.
