With high tariffs, Donald Trump is trying to get the manufacturing industry to the United States. But nowadays, the service sector is a much larger part of the economy than the manufacturing industry. In the 60s they were about the same size. Just because of its development in the service sector, the United States has retained its economic dominance in recent decades. What we hear now is the sound of a conspiracy theory that collides with reality.

That is not true, as DN’s main leader states that the only Europe can do is hope that the US Supreme Court will stop Donald Trump’s decommissioning of democracy in the United States. Sweden should protest and work for Europe to review what types of support they can offer the US vulnerable democracy. If Vice President JD Vance with misleading examples can express concern for democracy in Europe, we must, with equally justified, express concern for the autocratization of the United States. It would be to show solidarity with those who stand up against it. Instead, a low -key world shows that the defenders of democracy stand alone and that Donald Trump can continue autocratization in peace and quiet. Remember that Sweden previously supported the democratization of the United States. In 1966, the peace award winner Martin Luther King Jr a speech in Stockholm Where he said he was moved over the Swedish support for the civil rights struggle in the United States. It’s time to show our support again.
