We are used to short -term looting of natural resources in corrupt and poor countries in Africa. Now The Baltic Sea is exposedin front of our eyes, by profit -hungry owners of great trawlers. Political action shines with its absence! We are proud of our Swedish democratic system that balances different interests in a way that benefits all parties. The fact that the Baltic Sea fish stock, which formed the basis for the Swedes’ nutritional intake for generations, is now threatened by extinction is a clear example of the opposite. Kristersson’s calls that we must all be prepared for war lacks credibility when the government does not take responsibility for securing our food supply with a sustainable fishing stock. Feel free to make demands on the Swedish people, but the politicians must also take the lead and be good role models!

The book « Banana Republic Sweden » is already written (by Johannes Klenell). Reads « The boundless » (by Marcus Larsson and Åsa Plesner) about the politicians’ school shops and is so damned that our children’s school money goes to lobbyists, old and new politicians. Replacing Ulf Kristersson as leader of the Moderates seems difficult. But replacing Magdalena Andersson as S-leader might be something. Unfortunately, her leadership is not strong enough. For our safety and credibility, we need a leader who is clear in its leadership, not a murmuring leader that we have today. A leader to have confidence in, not ashamed of. Lisa Magnusson writes about mental illnessthat if you get a heart attack, you call 112 and home comes an ambulance. If, on the other hand, you have delusions and are suicidal -prone « there should be a psychiatry ambulance ». And so it works in the Stockholm region! If you feel mentally ill, you call 112. If it is urgent, psychiatry ambulance comes. Then the question is whether it works in the other 20 regions. Doubtful, but something for Magnusson to check out.

Thanks, po Tidholm, for Your text on DN Culture! As relocated from Överkalix in the mid-60s, I am well known the conditions Tidholm describes. For us, the abbreviation did not mean AMS Labor Market Board, but « everyone must south ».
