Honor to the French judicial system as put a stop to Marine Le Pen’s continued political career because of illegalities. Imagine if you have been just as consistent in the United States!
Kjell Jormfeldt, Strömsnäsbruk

So nice to see that justice won in a democratic country, France. Marie Le Pen’s serious crimes should be punished. She can forget to become president – a sign of freshness. Strange that it did not work in the same way in another democratic (?) Country, namely the United States. There they forgot about a person’s serious crimes – and then he became president.
Olle Gunnarsson, Umeå

Speaking of Trump and Le Pen and others: You who want to put yourself over rules that apply to everyone else, first make sure to become top politicians in a large country. Then you can commit any crime: fraud and sexual abuse. Then play martyr. No one can reach you. Not courts. Not other countries’ governments. And you are cheering on the game by those yours.
Solweig Johansson, Karlstad

Reply to Lars Wengrud (Noted on March 28): The fourth rider of the apocalypse is Erdogan.

US updated suggestions for a so -called mineral agreement with Ukraine is astonishing, on the verge of laughable (see Michael Winiarski’s comment in DN). Isn’t it time for the EU to place a competing bid? One characterized by decent and constructive businessmanship?
Olle Alexandersson, Malmö

The United States and Russia are about to make Ukraine their resource shed. The Ukrainian mining deposits the Russian occupants seized on are worth 77 times Ukraine’s gross domestic product. And Donald Trump wants with a « mineral agreement » Take over much of what remains of Ukrainian assets. How, then, can the EU hesitate that give ukraine they in the EU frozen Russian 300 billion euros? It is urgent. The unity in Europe if the sanctions against Russia can be weakened and the United States may well lift its sanctions and demand that the EU do so. Nobel Laureate in Literature, Svetlana Aleksijevich, says DN The fact that West’s indecision of support for Ukraine is due to their trembling for Putin. Give Ukraine the Russian money! Everything just gets worse the longer you wait.
Niclas Kuoppa, Stockholm

It is talked about how important it is for the United States to establish an agreement on access to Ukraine’s minerals so that this will then lead to a lasting peace. It seems like pure blackmail, but in my opinion there is a solution that could definitely lead to a peace agreement. Offer the United States of Ukraine’s mineral resources that are now occupied by Putin’s Russia. Then Trump would probably immediately ensure that Putin and Russia are immediately forced back to the land borders that existed before both 2014 and 2022.
Roger Ahlwefuhr, pensioner

You can threaten to get nuclear weapons if you do not have them. But if you have – then you threaten to use them.
Katarina Nyberg, Säter

Heard about « strategic empathy »? It is somewhat important that anyone who wants to work for an enlightened world ponders this concept, such as the international law expert Hans Blix, Foreign Minister 1978-79, is known for using. It is about trying to understand how different actors, including today’s state leaders in the United States, Russia, Turkey and elsewhere, perceive their situation. What interests, motives, fears and other feelings determine their actions? This means trying to get into their perspective in order to predict and, if necessary, influence their actions. This thing is well illustrated in SVT’s current documentary « The road to October 7 » – About Israel, West Bank and Gaza – in the outside program series Documents.

The government should apparently lend up SEK 300 billion To buy cannons, so we can be safe. At the same time you should lend up SEK 400 billion To build a perfect goal for our enemies, in the form of a new nuclear power plant. Logic?
Peter Bjelkedal, teacher

If The defense initiative: Never before has so many people agreed to lend future generations in order to possibly prevent something that would happen very unlikely even if these measures were not taken.
Fredrik Svensson, Rotebro

Is it just a coincidence that three high-ranking L-representatives jumps off their assignments the day before the time parties presented his proposal for « good vandel »?
Britt Montenius, Stockholm

The liberal dropouts are tight. Some position themselves for a future without parliamentary places. Others do not pallet for the internal and outer pressure. But those who prayed for the predictable crash remain. Johan Pehrson, Romina Pourmokhtari and Mats Persson continue to play their role as a voice filling in the right -wing nationalist government – to the voters throw them out next year. A sad ending for a movement that, together with the Social Democrats, won democracy in the fight against the forces that they have now voluntarily submitted.
Lars Wengrud, Bromma

Liberalism disappeared in a coup
Was founded by SD’s own rooster
The Government Leaves nowso embarrassed
The party secretary does the same
The grave of liberalism is to be prepared
Jumps off, they don’t want to be included
That it would go this bad in the end
Everything points to the party going out
With social liberalism from the beginning
Have they disappeared in the brown mourning

Roland Nilsson

While the government is aiming for shoot more joints and seals To give fish stocks a chance to recover, our civilization continues to spread marine -killing environmental toxins in the environment. The companies that make money from producing environmental toxins must pay for the upgrade of Swedish wastewater treatment plants. This would probably have a greater positive effect than the killing of wildlife.
Emil Siekkinen, Grove

My mother used to scratch broken knitted socks. Then she knit new ones of the residual yarns. Also thumbs. To children and grandchildren. All different colored striped. A kind of recycling management system. Now that time is long ago …

Opinions about DN

In DN Culture’s Sunday Appendix on March 30 there was a little jokingly designed Article About Sweden’s eight main « cultural dynasties », including Läckbergs, Wahlgrens and Schulmans. But you missed a really comprehensive cultural dynasty, namely Herngrens, who, in addition to Måns Herngren, Moa Herngren, Felix Herngren now also includes Vera Herngren, currently in The TV4 series « Lajka ». All of these are represented just about everywhere in all possible cultural contexts.
Åke Backman, Coffin

In DN 31/3 there is A brilliant chronicle By Alex Schulman. All the honor to the way he describes the drive that hit Princess Madeleine. No one has seen the least negative comment about Prince Carl Philips involvement in various companies. The chronicle is a real eye opener! Thanks Alex Schulman!
Christina Engman

IN The article The question of whether you are an evening or a morning person explains that the organization of our society, work and school benefits morning people. In general, the morning man is considered a little finer. The score of the survey scale in the article slips in the same tendency. Make the score just the opposite the prevailing attitude! Now the morning people get the highest points. From researchers, I expected to be able to think mirror. Maybe DN wants to publish a table with advantage for the evening man?
Joep Meens, Skattungbyn, a rather pronounced morning man

Just like Inga-Lena Christiansen (Noted on March 31) I responded to the publication of the bandy World Cup in Monday’s DN. There, the reporting on the men’s World Cup gold received a large picture and most of the site’s space. Team captain Martin Karlsson quoted with the new fashion sword: « Damn nice and damn fun … » The women’s World Cup gold, the sixth straight, got a small and more discreet single-column on the same page in the newspaper. Very strange!
