With the recent event development in the United States, I wish there were alternatives to Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. Are there no good IT entrepreneurs who could launch a new platform that complies with EU legislation with more ethical algorithms? A platform that does not incite people against each other and who cares about people's mental health. The need is screaming, a real gap in the market and great opportunity!
Amanda Schaffrin, Svedala

Reads that the US newspaper Washington Post's owner Jeff Bezos does not want some « system -critical » texts on the newspaper's opinion pages. But it is probably nothing new or special for American media. For example, will the following text be published? If the United States, NATO and the EU were less active in their efforts to incorporate Ukraine into NATO, the ongoing war would probably not have erupted. And that as a result of the war excited political and military discussion in Europe could have been much more balanced.
Brother Tegelid, Östersund

Now you become a witness to the weirdness that different left-wing groups and the so-called Peace Movement scream that Sweden must leave the DCA agreement or even worse to leave NATO. You absolutely do not want American soldiers on Swedish soil. At the same time, Ukraine is struggling precisely for the United States to give the country security guarantees with American soldiers on Ukrainian land – as many as possible – because NATO cooperation is the strong peace movement needed to secure peace and freedom in Europe.

This week, EU and Israel's foreign ministers met. According to Deutsche Welle interpreted the Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar the meeting as the EU's « desire to renew a normal relationship » – as if it has been nothing but normal since the war in Gaza started. In addition to verbal criticism of the Israeli warfare and the occupation of Palestinian territory, Sweden and most EU countries were sanctions. EU cabin with your finger but never hit the fist in the table, despite the suffering of the Palestinians on the West Bank and in Gaza. And now Germany's future Chancellor Friedrich Merz has promised that the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for the International Criminal Court to come to Germany without being arrested. The EU's free pass for the Israeli occupation and warfare against the Palestinians thus continues to apply. It cannot be hidden by the EU's « straight and honest » dialogue with Israel. It is like the Oxfam aid organization commented on the EU line: « This is not diplomacy – it is accordance. »

It is important to protect Jews in Sweden from being harassed. It should be equally important to protect Palestinians in Gaza from being massacred.

When SD's « Troll Fabrics » were revealed A clip By SD-Åkesson with helmet and sword run into Rinkeby square in an armored car alongside the frog Skurt that shoots around with a shotgun, all to the tones of Sabaton's « Resist and Bite ». Jimmie Åkesson said he thought it was fun. Åkesson later claimed that American vice president JD Vance speaks clear language when he says that Europe's democracies (because they do not allow xenophobia and even racist parties into the heat) is the big problem, not dictatorship such as China and Russia. When Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson was asked whether the magic factories affected government cooperation with SD, he replied: « I do not bear responsibility for the Swedish Democrats. » Åkesson's defense of JD Vance play at the Security Conference in Munich has been met by silence by prime minister and foreign minister with « ice in the stomach » tactics. The problem is that we all, even the prime minister, are responsible for the words we give legitimacy. We are part of the common language, whether we sit alone in an apartment with pulled out blinds and only have contacts online or live more social lives. We are what we say.

Mats

Integration Minister Mats Persson (L) takes on bulletproof west and makes his grandiose entrance in Rinkeby. Talk about making yourself ridiculous. Does he really think he was on his way to the war in Ukraine, Gaza or Afghanistan? No, Mats, here is no worse than any summer party that derailed – relax with some ice cream!
Juan Fonseca

Given Integration Minister Mats Persson's latest directive to remove the right to an interpreter, I think that his title should be renamed segregation minister.
Gunnar o Klein, Stockholm

Sometimes one wonders: Is the Labor Market and Integration Minister Mats Persson (L) for real, is he really and, perhaps the less philosophical question, does he do his job? The answer to the last question is that we have an unemployment of 592,000 people. What then consists of our Labor Minister's priority tasks. Well, explain that the unemployed are lazy, that the line of work is such a beautiful word, demand in A debate article That the cultural elite should cancelle the convicted artist Yasin (who served his sentence), Lajva police in Rinkeby wearing bulletproof vest And at the end of the working day, wait for the business cycle to turn up soon. Worse work for a tough minister.

Will teachers have the same obvious authority in the free school where the student's parent is a shareholder?

At Lidl, as a customer you cannot become a member or get a discount if you do not have a mobile phone that you can download apps in. This affects the poor. So we are not good as customers? I contact Lidl's customer service and learn that it is enough to register as a lidl customer and then just give up their phone number when you shop. But when I went to Lidl and called the head office and got the answer that « no it doesn't work ». I now shop only for a single product that is only available at Lidl. Then I move on to another grocery store and do my weekly document there.

The carbon black is worn in the snow on the table outside the kitchen window. It gets old apples. On the back of the house sit carbon blacks and eat sebum ball and are sometimes released by the arrow finches. A skate pair sits on the fence and scouting before throwing in and taking over. They are so beautiful but knock, knock on the window and they fly away. The carbon blacks who only bid their time behind a lilac jumps back to the sebaceous balls. So time for a dog walk with extra many pellets so the crows can get a proper meal in the park we go to. The dog does not care, if only he can also taste when he buffs his nose on my legs. The close contact with the living animals who recognize me and without litigation dampen their hunger with the little one that is offered, gives a quiet joy and meaning, now that so much around us is heavy and even scary. Sure, I also invest in helping farmers to self -help in East Africa and send a coin to Ukraine, but the little lives closely give the comfort I need now. Lucky they are in the middle of the city.

Opinions about DN

On DN's front page on Thursday you could read the following heading: « Today Jonna Sundling goes for his fifth World Cup gold. » Swengish of rank in Sweden's largest morning newspaper. Where is our language going?
Yvonne Blank, Translator, Stockholm

I'm disappointed at DN! Not a row to make visible and perhaps propagate for the big demonstration for Ukraine and against Russia on Monday at Sergel's square. The resistance needs to be made visible in every way. We also need more information about which companies support Russia – directly or indirectly – so that we can boycott them as well. Every little drop is counted and together we can benefit.
Gustav Friberg, Vällingby
