Letter to the editor. It is time for the Healthcare Association’s management to resign

The Healthcare Association has negotiated yet another total failure to collective agreements for its members. There is still no properly lowered working time for all nurses and the percentage wage increases are far too poor to create an attractive salary situation for nurses.

I knew that the Healthcare Association would once again disappoint its members and not deliver an attractive and sustainable agreement to them. The Healthcare Association’s ineffective and substandard work will make the care crackle further and make the work difficult to fix more hands in healthcare in order for nurses to be able to cope with their work and be able to provide the care patients. President, Sineva Ribeiro, the chairman of the health care association, negotiating manager Mathias Åström and the Health Care Association!

Nurses and other healthcare professionals deserve better, which during years after year is drawn with low wages and long working hours, insufficient semester for the stress that irregular working hours create and in addition are not enough at work because of these bad conditions that make it unattractive to work in care.

Just see how bad The situation looks in northern Älvsborg and Uddevalla (NU healthcare), where nurses are on their knees so that the Healthcare Association does not press employers and politicians properly for a sustainable change. A proper strike that pushes politicians and employers to the utmost had been in place to bring about a sustainable change.

It is time for the Health Care Association chairman Sineva Ribeiro together with negotiating manager Mathias Åström and other management to resign!
