Letter to the editor. Give all port workers a chance to plan their lives
There is concern in the ports. The port workers have been on strike.
As soon as the voice mode is raised, the employer in the form of Sweden’s ports begins to talk about the Swedish model and that the ports need peace and quiet.
We want nothing more than peace and quiet – that’s how our requirements are about!
We want in particular That our union elected representatives should not have to worry about getting fired without real cause, just because they are union representatives.
With today’s agreement, the employer buys too easily free from these offenses. Give us peace and quiet by protecting our trade union representatives from reprisals!
The Swedish model that requires the employer to call safety representatives to various risk assessments is more and more neglected and creates a concern among the employees in the ports. Here, too, the employer today buys recurring free from his obligations. Give us peace and quiet and reinforce the obligation to negotiate!
Give further staffing staff Rights to leisure and to be able to plan their lives in peace and quiet.
By, among other things, fulfilling their statutory obligations and meeting our requirements for strengthened protection of trade union representatives, Sweden’s ports can give us just that – peace and quiet, without having to cost anything!
We agree with Sweden’s ports: Give us peace and quiet in Sweden’s ports!
