Letter to the editor. Drop food into starving in gaza

The food bowls are empty, the saucepans empty and the large stews as well. The starvation is a fact in Gaza.

This starvation is not due to drought and misgrowth, but on pure and cutting evil – the neighbor’s inhuman behavior. The neighbor is the occupation power Israel.

Of Gaza’s approximately one million children, some have already died of acute malnutrition and the others risk starvation, especially those for five years. It is due to the fact that Israel stopped all the importation of food Since the beginning of March. For over two months, starvation has been used as a weapon.

There is food In storage room waiting to be brought in, but Israel stops the import. Germany, the United Kingdom and France recently demanded that food transport be admitted into Gaza. Almost nothing is heard from the Swedish government.

The primarily guilty of Gaza’s children being starved to death is the state of Israel. But involved are also the states that nothing does to prevent the crime and stop killing. Sweden is one of these largely silent states, despite clear calls for actions from all despairing people who tirelessly demonstrate throughout the country every week and from 300 healthcare employees in a sharp call. All of us who hate to become involved in a live genocide.

The reporting on the children in Gaza is horrifying – images that etch themselves to the retina. Children whose arms and legs are like sticks and whose skeletons are clearly visible. One must be in total lack of empathy if this does not affect one.

To kill children And other civilians with a terrible amount of bombs – bombs significantly more powerful than those used in previous wars – are extremely cruel. We agree with the UN’s call: Release the food – cancel this brutal blockade!
